Ability to use random text in Rich Text phrases

Is it not possible to use the Spintax random text option when using Rich Text? I have the following in a phrase:

{if you have any questions|if I can be of any assistance}

But it outputs that entire string when I output, even with the random option enabled.

You can use Non formatted text and then "insert another item" macro which contains rich text part.
