I have a keyboard with dedicated numbers keypad and shortcuts assigned to each numbers key, and also numlock disabled using PowerToys. Suddenly, my shortcuts using the num keys don't work...and I have tried everything I can think of to correct the problem. I have restarted FastKeys as an admin, I have tried toggling NumLock, I have renabled NumLock with PowerToys, re disabled with Power Toys, restarted my computer, eaten a lot of skittles while contemplating. Nothing works. I have also reassigned the same shortcults to Function keys to cofirm the shortcuts still work properly.
Any thoughts or ideas?

At the time of posting, I was having a hard time trying to figure out if it was a Windows problem, a problem with my machine, or a FastKeys problem. After troubleshooting, I figured out it was a Windows problem, and the solution is below - I am posting this here for others, and for me the next time it happens!

Fast startup messes with how NumLock stays on after you reboot your computer. You know, it's one of those annoying things that just doesn't remember the setting right.
Here's how to fix it. Head over to the Control Panel first. Then find Power Options. Click on Choose what the power buttons do.
Now, you'll see a link that says Change settings that are currently unavailable. Go ahead and click that.
Uncheck the box for Turn on fast startup, even though it says recommended. Yeah, sometimes those recommendations aren't helpful.
Hit Save changes when you're done.
Reboot your machine and check if NumLock works like it should now. That usually does the trick.

Thanks for the update. Some configurations of PowerToys are known to conflict with FastKeys and similar software.
