I've had an interesting issue show up with Fastkeys v 2.12. It's only happened 3 or 4 times over the past couple weeks, but it's annoying when it does. The mouse scroll wheel and right click will suddenly not work in any application. If I go into settings and disable gestures, the functionality comes back. I don't have many gestures active and they're the default ones that come with fastkeys. I'm not sure what's going on with it. It's happening so infrequently I haven't noticed any pattern to what's causing it. I'll post any further details about it if I come up with anything.

Thanks for reporting. We will make further tests and it would be very helpful if you could find any detail which would help to replicate the issue. Are you using all default gesture preferences? Which Windows version do you use?

I'm using Win7 Pro 64 bit. It's random. If it starts happening I can disable Gestures and it will go away. If I restart fastkeys all together (without disabling Gestures) it will also go away.

Here's a screenshot of my Gestures setup:

Ok, it just happened again. I tried turning off each gesture one by one, but that made no difference. In preferences I turned off "show mouse trail" and the problem went away! I don't know if that's what's causing it or something else. I'll turn mouse trails back on and see if it happens again.

Thanks, unfortunately I cannot replicate it in our setups, all running 24/7. Are your Preferences/Gestures all on default? Any other commands/shortcuts using RButton or Mouse Wheel?

I'm having the same issue as well.

Happens to all my mouses (Logitech Performance MX, uninstalled all Logitech drivers & SW, still happens), also with Dell Touchpad (Alps driver), doesn't scroll anymore.

Interestingly, holding down Alt makes scrolling work again, but when releasing Alt scrolling is broken again.

Exiting and restarting Fastkeys fixes the issue.

I'm only using text expanding functionality and have disables all other modules.

It happens at my setup a few times a day (W7 Pro 64-bit).

Thanks for reporting this. Please let me know if the described behavior still occurs in the just released new version (2.13).

If yes, would disabling "Show mouse trail" make any difference? Would pressing Esc fix it?

Thanks Marko. Just updated to 2.13. I'll let you know if it shows up.

Yes, with 2.13 it still happens.

A quick reload of Fastkey (rightclick - Reload) resolves the issue though.

If you mean with "show mouse trail" the option in Control Panel - Mouse - Display Pointer Trails: that one's not activated.

I meant FastKeys Preferences/Gestures Show mouse trail setting - do you have it enabled? If yes, would disabling it help? As it never happens on our systems, any additional information is highly appreciated.

No, that option is not enabled.

It happens approximately twice a day.
