This macro inserts the content of an external image file within the text. A file dialog is shown to select the image file from the disk.



•File path - File path to the image file. Select a folder button to select a file from a disk. The following image file formats are supported: jpg, jpeg, png, ico, gif, bmp, tif, tiff.


Select OK to insert a %FILE_Name% macro field into the command. Double-click on the field name to open the dialog and edit the macro properties again.


In the following example, the external text will be inserted after the first text is sent.

First text. %FILE_MyImageFile%  Second text.


When inserting larger files, you may need to increase the Paste Delay in Preferences > Text Expander > Advanced.
