Mapping simple Keyboard Shortcuts to approximate macOS

I use macs and pcs a lot and i'm tired of getting hung up using the wrong key combinations to initiate the most common keyboard shortcuts. Since the mac command key is next to the spacebar, i wanted to assign the windows Alt Key for commands like copy, paste etc. I've done about 15 keys so far (ctrl-c => alt-c etc.). It doesn't work perfectly using the Send type and ^c. But it does a good enough job. Is there a way to programatically reassign any ctrl-{key} combo to alt-{key}?

Just curious.

I tried but couldn't make it working. What's the problem with your solution?

Nothing is wrong with the current set up - for the most part. It's working. Microsoft Edge is a little fussy but all the other apps seem to respond well.

I just wanted to see if there were a more elegant solution. More for curiosity's sake than anything.
