It works - you should enable "Trigger immediately" option.

What are your language/keyboard settings?

Language - Portuguese (Brazilian)
Layout - ABNT2
As I said, weirdly this works fine with an AHK script. I read the documentation and checked the same options.
In this layout ` backtick is positioned two keys to the right of O, and needs SHIFT.

Strange. I installed Portuguese (Brazilian) ABNT2 and exact same definition works as expected on my side. Could you verify again? Do you have any other active conflicting item?
If you still have trouble, you can send us your settings.fdb and settings.ini files to our support mail and we will take a look.

Just now I was testing another autohotkey script (not in FastKeys, but it was running). And suddenly, Fastkey it is working perfectly again :O
What happened?

Broken again. Maybe something to do with the parallel Autohotkey installation. I've uninstalled both and reinstalled FK, still doesn't work.

I tried it with the settings file you sent. Everything works as expected on our end. You must be running some conflicting applications/commands!? Have you disabled all running AutoHotkey scripts (check Task Manager)?
