I just upgraded from 5.17 to 6. I'm using the portable version, installed in a different directory from 5.17. The What's New page includes the line "Auto import from previous FastKeys versions".

Please, how do I do that? I can't immediately see anything in Settings. I could obviously copy from 5.17 to 6, but wasn't sure if you'd changed file formats.

There is no change in file formats. Just use File/Open and select your settings file.

Thanks. I was looking for an Import item under Preferences, didn't think to look at File Open

I was at first confused by settings.ini, until I realised it needed settings.fdb.

It didn't pick up all settings, though. Quick-add Shortcut, Text Expander font size, and Auto Complete Minimum word length to show suggestion were all things I noticed hadn't been re-set. Oh, well.
