Text expansion doesn’t work in form fields

Hi, I’ve just installed FastKeys because I had a problem with aText because I had a problem which I encounter with FastKeys too: my snippets don’t work in any field on the web I try to write in. For example, search bars, chat windows, etc.

The other strange thing happening is that when I write in such fields, no apostrophe or inverted commas appear. That’s why I had to write this message in Notion and paste it here, so that I don’t look illiterate

I’ve just spent an hour importing all my snippets. Ireally hope I make things work with FastKeys. Any answer is appreciated.

In Google search for example'o`r the address bar in browsers. I use Brave, Chrome and Edge. Before I could even enter passwords and email addresses using snippets.

I have a suspicion about an encoding issue in Windows, but I'm not sure how to handle that.

` is escape character in FastKeys. In order to send it you need to escape it itself, like this

Hi Marko,

I don't have`as a symbol in the snìppets I want to expand. In fact, I couldnt even type it'hère. I had to use the spellchecker to correct my writing`. But ive left everything else thank you that you can see what is`happening.
I think theres something very wrong with thè encoding and I dont know how to fix it, unfortunately.

Sorry, I don’t follow. Could you please describe a phrase example and what is the result when you trigger it?
