Hi All.

I am using "Everything" (great app) to find files on my Windows 11 computer. I want to create a number of shortcuts that will select an item under Everything's "Search" menu - to filter the search results by image, audio, etc.. I'd also like to limit the scope of these shortcuts, so that they only works in Everything. To do this, I need to enter the window name in the shortcut configuration window. The only problem is, Everything varies the window name with every search. If I search for "Red", Everything's window name changes to, "Red - Everything". if I then search for "Green", the window name then becomes, "Green - Everything". There does not appear to be an option to turn off this behavior. This means I can't create a shortcut that works in all instances.

Does anyone know how I might get around this problem? TIA for any help.

Window can contain a list of full or partial window names so you can just enter “Everything” and it should work in all windows containing a word Everything.

Good to know. I'll give it a try. Thank you.
