Hi there.

First off: Thank you! I love Fastkeys, it's been such a valuable help for me over the years ❤️
Right now I am teaching an AI class and I created prompt templates with Fastkeys to semi-automatically create potent prompts.
I am searching for a way to export those text expander templates as single files so that users of my seminars can just import them in a new fast keys install.

I have not found a way to do that easily. The only way I can see to do this now is to export ALL of my expander forumlas (which are over 250) and then opening that fdb file and deleting all the unused ones just leaving the AI related expands there. Which is really unhandy.
Is there a shorter way to do this? I just want to export those expander shortcuts one by one and I want the users to be able to import them one by one.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Florian, apart from Team features where users can share their settings there is currently no other way to do this. But thanks for the idea, we may implement "Save selected items as..." option in one of the next releases.

Yeah, that would REALLY be helpful! Right now sharing a single expand is really a chore, I have to save the database under a different name, then make sure all is correct, then delete all my other expansions. And everytime I change a single bit in one of the expansions I have to do it all over again :(

+1 to this request; I've just imported 500 espanso text expansions prefaced with a ; because I misunderstood how prefixes worked. I don't see any way to export them all now and so I need to go back and redo all of the espanso yaml cleanup I did and reimport with no ; prefix.

We are working on this feature request and it will be ready for the next version release.
