autocomplete problem!

I have a problem when using an autocomplete wordlist. when using autocomplete by using the shortcut to show the suggestions box and autocompleting something, it always eats the first letter of the autocompleted word. When I autocomplete normally by start typing the word, autocomplete completes the word correctly.

Any thoughts?
