FastKeys 4.12 Released

What's new in FastKeys 4.12:
September 15, 2018

Special modifier characters (+!^#) are now disabled by default in order not to confuse new users. If you use modifiers please enable this option in Preferences/Text Expander.

Release notes:
- Modifier characters are now disabled by default,
- Additional Start Menu appearance options,
- Enterprise Edition - Policy Manager updates,
- Language translation updates,
- Various improvements and bug fixes.

Hi!

Thought I'd pop in and say hello!

Is there anything different about the installer regards missing/unknown publisher information only my antivirus (which is on paranoia-mode admittedly) doesn't like this installer, however accepts the previous version.

It does mention unknown publisher information.

Thanks for reporting.

Some anti-virus software may wrongly suspect FastKeys as Spyware because it processes keyboard input. Such reports are false and FastKeys is absolutely safe to use. From our end there is no difference between 4.12 and 4.11.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Of course I should add for clarity, there is absolutely no malware or malicious code within Fastkeys, this is down to security software misreporting or or misidentifying issues where there are none.

Such as the world we live in nowadays, some security software is cranked so high that it occasionally gets things wrong!
