I'm using the Alt+Q menu and choose a file (for example a .jpg, which normally launches irfanview when I click it in explorer or Total commander), it doesn't launch the viewer. It just doesn't do anything. When I choose a folder, it opens explorer with that folder.

What am I doing wrong?

Recent files/folders command relies on the links to items available in the Windows recent items folder. In Win10 this is
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent
folder. Can you locate this folder and run the same file from there? The script opens the file with the default associated program.
