I've been holding out for a very long time on 'redoing' my rig as I have been reluctant to make the move to Windows 10 - I own 8.1 and 10, but I seem to be one of the few people who liked 8.1!
I'm a graphic artist by trade and a gamer, so I like having high-end hardware... but as for the OS... what is the consensus around the FastKeys/AHK community about Windows 10? Is it quite good? Are my concerns about Microsoft being too invasive silly? It's inevitable to go to Windows 10 eventually...
If so, what things do you recommend turning off or tweaking?

Yes, I'm glad, it's stable, no issues. I only changed window title bar colors as they are white by default. You will not notice a big difference.

I really like Windows 10 as well. It is fast and stable on my computer, which is a 7yr old ASUS notebook.
What I did after upgrade, and do again after every major update is run ShutUp10 from O&O Software, and also activate WindowsSpyBlocker hosts using Hostsman.
Any other suggestion to improve performance and reduce tracking?
