Hi,

I use the portable version of FastKey on a memory stick.
I ran FastKey from my memory stick and added about 10 new AUTO COMPLETE entries e.g. if you type 'arthritis' = it would open a specific internet website about arthritis.
When I tried to save it, it said there was an error and to check for a duplicate.
I panicked and started using Save As, and making copies of the database files...and now Im totally confused and in a mess.

I still have the last 10 back up files stored on my computer in the folder FastKeys Backup - Settings.
Since I'm using the portable version from a memory stick which I take to work each day...do I need to copy one of the back up files from my computer... and paste it into the memory stick?
In my memory stick the DATA folder contains five files (color, Examples, presents, Settings, settings).
Do I need to replace one of these files?

Hi, no reason to panic :-)

You can retrieve any of the backup files (.fdb) by copying it to the FastKeys\Data folder (you can also rename the file) and then open it in FastKeys by File/Open...

But maybe there is no need to do this. One of your commands is causing the error message so you could try disabling recently added commands one by one to find which one is causing the trouble. You can post it here and I will see what the problem is.
