I have been trying to configure this software for daily use. I read in the documentation that both RUN and OPEN command can be used interchangeably to do the same tasks.

Thus I was wondering if there is any difference between the 2 in terms of speed etc and which one should be used in which circumstances.

If there is no difference at all it might be a good idea to phase out 1 as it is a bit confusing 2 have two commands doing exactly the same thing!

Run and Open commands are separated to be more friendly for inexperienced users. But you are right, we may join them into one in the future.
