I like the way the Start Menu is organized in version 2.20
I have added Show recent items to this menu (Preferences/Start Menu)

When I click on an item in this submenu the folder is opened in Windows Explorer which is not really my favorite filemanager :D
Is it possible that folders are opened in Total Commander?

It would be very nice for a future release :P No hurry

BTW: Can I move the Recent submenu to the bottom of the Start Menu?

Thanks,

FastKeys opens files with their default application and it does not differentiate between files and folders. It would be possible but a little tricky to implement the option to allow adding extra path in Run commands for opening folders.

Typically file managers have the ability to replace Windows Explorer as your default file manager. I have found some links for doing this in Total Commander:

Recent menu can currently not be moved. I can maybe think of a future setting. :D

I used the information you gave me (Total Commander Wiki page) to make TC my default file manager and now when I click on a recent folder in my FastKeys menu the folder opens in TC

Thanks!

Good to know. Here it works great as well, but using Directory Opus as the Explorer replacement.
