I thought I discovered a but but I think it was user error.

I had some time the other day and was checking out the settings in Fastkeys.
I clicked on File > New just to see what it was for.
I new window appeared and I got prompted to save some kind of file.
After saying NO to the "New" window prompt then I closed Fastkeys.
Again I got prompted to Save but I thought I didn't make any changes.
Later I noticed none of my hotkeys or text replacement was working even with Fastkeys running.
I opened Fastkeys and noticed everything thing I entered including the default hotkeys were cleared.
Luckly I have a old .ahk file so I am using that for now.
Wish I could remember more of what I did.

Does Fastkeys auto save text replacements and hotkeys to a particular file for backups?

When you select File, New, FastKeys creates a new empty Untitled file which you can name and save. Your previous file is not deleted and you can have as many settings files as you wish.

You can open your previous file with File, Open and selecting the file name (default is Settings.fdb).

Please let me know if you discover any unexpected behavior. We will prepare an auto-backup function for one of the next version releases.
