How to send parentheses

For some reason I cannot find this in the documentation.

When I have something such as "Program Files (x86)" it comes out as "Program Files (x*^)".

I see that the ( is causing it to shift the keys for 8 and 6, but I don't want this. I need to send the parentheses itself.

It does this even though I have "Send Raw Text" selected.

Is there documentation on these special characters and how to get them to send rather than perform a function?

I tried but cannot get this on my computer. Which language are you using?
You can also send your settings.fdb and settings.ini files to our support mail and I can check further.
