Hi
I just bought a really nice laptop I love it but the keyboard layout is very difficult. It's much smaller and the "Insert" keys as well as "HOME" "END" "PAGEUP and "PAGEDN" are no longer present and only available via the "FN" combined with another key.

I love FASTKEYS and hope that with the help of some creatve input I could find some workarounds for the "FN" key combination.

First, could I use Mouse wheel press UP/DN to toggle the INSERT key?

Second could I combine the mouse buttons (left, right and wheel) with CTRL to emulate HOME, END and page up and down (wheel forward and backward)?
If this is possible would the mouse buttons still have their native functionality when not combined with CTRL?

Thanks
Elliot

very simple, you can just add shortcut items:
1. Press ... button to set a shortcut
2. Set Type to Send
3. Press More button and select Keys menu to add keys.

For example:
Shortcut: Ctrl + LButton
Type: Send
Command: {Home}

Mouse buttons will keep a native function when not combined with the other key, like Ctrl. For special cases, if you wish to force the native function of the shortcut you can select Optional Attributes/native option.

Please let me know if you have any other question.

Thanks Tom - I did play around with the Macro Recorder and added the shortcuts I needed. It really was pretty simple.
