Text Expander with Gmail
Text Expander is working everywhere but within Gmail. Is it incompatible with Gmail?
I tried on three computers and it works for me. Could you be more specific what is not working?
Just tried it again and it does not work.
I have it set up to do an immediate text expansion when I type the default prefix of * and the string of characters to trigger the expansion. It works fine in Notepad but not in Gmail. I'll try another browser. Perhaps its the extensions I'm using in Chrome.

I setup a text expander for my signature and it works in Word but not gmail.
I did the same in a menu item, same results, it appears there are issues sending text to gmail.

Strange, I cannot reproduce it, works well for me on all computers. I select Compose for a new message and type "kr" followed by Space - "kind regards" is triggered.
What exactly happens in your case? Does abbreviation string disappear?

It does nothing - absolutely nothing. Nothing is deleted and there is nothing to indicate any action occurred.
Can I insert an attachment, I have a video showing the results when I try to insert a signature into gmail?
