What's new in FastKeys 3.0:
May 15, 2015
Time for a major version upgrade! Many new functions and improvements, including Rich Text support and new macros to be used with a Text Expander. This now allows additional flexibility by adding manual text input fields (input dialog window will appear when command is executed), embedded file contents (text, images, html and rtf files are supported), Pause (sending delay, useful when embedding large files etc.), fixed cursor position any many more. Special thanks to Jürgen for a German translation!
- Rich Text formatting support,
- Manual text input fields,
- Embedded file contents,
- Cursor position field,
- System variables,
- Additional Start Menu options,

- General improvements and bug fixes.
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Ohh yeah! Nice way to wake up to the weekend... thanks man!
I installed the new version 3.0 but seem to have lost all my presets, custom text expanders, start menu items and settings from version 2.0. is there a way I can get these back? I'd hate to have to spend all that time setting up (and trying to remember!) them all again. Help!
Hi Bry,
FastKeys doens't delete any setting file during the update so this should not happen. What did you do?
The files are by default located in C:\Program files\FastKeys\Data folder. There are backups too, located in Documents\FastKeys\FastKeys Backup folder (My Documents in Win7). Please find the latest file with your settings, copy it to the Data folder and open it with FastKeys.
If you need further assistance, please contact me on our support mail.
