An easy work around is to hold the 'shift' key and then 'right mouse' button.

Thanks for your helpful response.
Problem: I clicked on the FastKeys icon in the tray. All I got was a short magenta bar, which appeared for a second. I caught the word "Loading" beneath it, but there was no settings page or anything else.
Your suggestions?

Update -- and i get the indication sometimes only, if the trail width and color setting is above 6.

i defined myself a syntax for my meeting notes Examples: &Name for attendees @Name for things to delegate [ ] for Tasks and % for signaling a risk. I use it in combination with %low %med %high to signal a risk Level. I developed my Meeting note Syntax years ago because it works on paper as well ...

You can simply write the clipboard contents to a file -
then on startup - read that file in -
