Special characters in substitute of Text Expander change or disappear

I have created a few Text Expander entries that use some special characters or symbols. I have noticed that they will work without trouble if I do not alter them, but if I edit or duplicate one the data in the "substitute" field of the Text Expander will either disappear or be replaced wit...

Re: Auto Complete occasionally popping up with module deactivated

It just happened to me when creating a new folder called "Evernote" and I wasn't sure if it was the auto complete module kicking in, so I took a screenshot and thought I would post it... but I see you have responded that you know what the issue is.

Thanks very much Marko!

Re: Auto Learn - with Auto Complete deactivated?

I needed to go back to an earlier image of my operating system, not because of FastKeys of course, but I just checked my previous settings from version 4.03 and Auto Learning was checked on along with having Auto Complete module off. So this might not be the reason I was seeing an auto-complete word...

Auto Complete occasionally popping up with module deactivated

I was curious why this "Auto Complete" feature was popping up for me (after updating to 4.04) as I have the Auto Complete module deactivated. By turning on/off a few of the features in preferences, it seemed to be that "Auto learn" was checked on, so I unchecked it and hit apply,...

Re: New to FastKeys... having some trouble.

I just purchased another license, and installed it on that computer - which is running Windows 7 x64, and strangely... the same thing occurred upon starting FastKeys right after it installed. * None of the "recent items" in the menu would open on this computer either!? * I even tried reboo...

Are you glad you upgraded to Windows 10?

I've been holding out for a very long time on 'redoing' my rig as I have been reluctant to make the move to Windows 10 - I own 8.1 and 10, but I seem to be one of the few people who liked 8.1! I'm a graphic artist by trade and a gamer, so I like having high-end hardware... but as for the OS.....

Re: New to FastKeys... having some trouble.

That is perfect! Thanks for the suggestions Marko. I really would love to figure out more about how AHK itself works. My computer has been acting up lately, and I'm due for a refresh of the OS, so some of these strange things happening are not just in FastKeys. Strangely, I still can't open a 'new' ...

New to FastKeys... having some trouble.

Hello, first time posting here - I'm very new to FastKeys. I just love the idea of the possibilities that AHK can do - though I'm not experienced in programming at all, so I really like the idea of FastKeys making it much easier to do all the various things that can be done. I've limited myself to u...
