whoa, this did the trick - thank you very much
. To better understand the background: Does it mean you need to call all Win apps/programs from their app references in the start menu rather than directly by their .exe filename to ensure mouse focus will be as usual?

I have tried to launch chrome by a mouse gesture through "run", by "run/explorer.exe <path> chrome.exe" and by some other commands. All of them end up with the same result: Chrome launches fine, but the corsor focus is NOT on the search field, so when entering text, nothing happe...
