Thanks - sounds good

Letters or extended numbering for menu selections

I use FastKeys at work (thanks to the portable option) and find it very useful I have one text expansion for work URL's that displays a menu with 30 or so entries (see here https://imgur.com/a/xbdUdko for image) The automatic numbering gives a number for the first 9 entries, but after that nothing W...

Re: Creating a basic GUI to display shortcuts

Hi Tom Thanks for that response. That works well but it's relatively straightforward for applications (either using the code you provided, or via using the Window field to make it context-specific) What I find more difficult is making it context-specific based on a word in the browser URL With the A...

Re: Creating a basic GUI to display shortcuts

Thanks Tom - that is perfect for what I would like to do also 🙂 I previously made something similar using just AutoHotKey, but this looks way simpler The only possible extra benefit to the below is that it allowed context specific display based on keywords in the URL so useful for keyboard shortcut ...

Re: How do i use Fast Keys on different PCs ?

Please consider having automatic sync across devices for future versions
Seems like a rather clunky approach in this day and age having to copy files etc
I like FastKeys generally but this particular aspect is problematic

Re: Sync settings over multiple computers

Agree that this would be a very useful addition to FastKeys

Some people work in settings with very locked down IT, so having settings sync automatically across devices would be very beneficial

Seems like it should be something relatively easy to implement in this day and age

Re: Letters instead of numbers for selection from multiple options with text expander

Thanks. I use Alt Space (via PowerToys) for general Windows search and works well
However I could set up another keyboard shortcut for FastKeys search and that could help

Letters instead of numbers for selection from multiple options with text expander

I like the option in FastKeys where a given keyboard shortcut will lead to a popup and then you can choose from the multiple options you have populated it with I have one for personal information and it has at least 20 entries and likely to grow over time At the moment, the first nine items have a n...

Re: text inserted with FastKeys (or any AutoHotkey-based script or program) getting garbled in certain programs

I was having similar issues at work for some reason - URL's I'd commonly use would come out as a mix of capitalized letters and unusual characters. For me, setting the key delay didn't work However, ticking "Use clipboard" in the edit screen for a particular text expansion did the trick. B...
