Hi - I'm trying to set up a text expander for the following string which when typed in the Windows Explorer address bar brings up the recent folders dialog;
shell:::{22877a6d-37a1-461a-91b0-dbda5aaebc99}
Do I need to escape the ( char?
Thanks

Re: Text Expanding with no definition in Fastkeys
Found it! There was a "WS" entry in the auto correct phrase file that expanded to "WAS". I removed that line from the phrase file - problem solved.

Text Expanding with no definition in Fastkeys
Hi
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. With FASTKEYS running WS becomes WAS after keying in "WS" and hitting the space bar. If I quit Fastkeys, it doesn't happen. I've looked three times in my Text Expansion definitions and cannot find a "WS" string entry.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

[solved]Gestures not working on new laptop
Hi I copied my fastkey configuration files from my old laptop to my new one. When I go into settings I see the same gesture definitions for "D", "U" and "R_L". I used these to turn volume up and down or toggle the mute button. On the new computer they don't work. What a...

Re: Send Shift+Insert when Ctrl+V pressed
Thanks - Jon - It's been a while since I played with Fastkeys.
So (1) how do I get the name of the window or program and (2) is there an example of how to activate the shortcut when a particular window is active?

Hi
I'd like to send Shift+Insert when Ctrl+V but only when one program is active. How would I do this?
Thanks

Text expander with (#) launches Adobe Acrobat by mistake
