Re: expanding i and im
I think you may be having the same trouble I was having, before Marko kindly introduced a default suffix character. It solved all the problems for me. I prefer to be quite clear about when the text expander operates - I want to tell it when to look at the last few characters typed and then act. I do...

Use phrase file in start menu
The help file under "Using Fastkeys>Modules>Start Menu" says that Phrase File is available as a command type (under 2 Select command type) but this option is not made available on the menu item setup form. Can this option be made available please?

Re: Import/Export Start Menu tabs
Thanks Marko. I had not spotted that menu item - I'll give it a go.
Any chance of an export to csv facility?

Import/Export Start Menu tabs
It would be very helpful to be able to import and export each start menu tab from and to csv files.

Re: Fastkeys overwriting not inserting in Win7 File Save dialog
It is a problem because I want files sorted by Correspondent name>Date>Topic and having Date at the start of the file name does not do this. Your question is a good one though and prompted me to think harder and find a solution that works for me. My file naming standard is "CorrespondentName.DateAsy...

Re: Fastkeys overwriting not inserting in Win7 File Save dialog
After trying a number of alternatives it seems that the problem with the "Save As" dialog lies with the use of input forms, whether these are ahk input forms or Fastkeys Input selection forms. When drawn on screen the forms change the File Name control of the "Save As" dialog so that all text alread...

Re: Introduce preferences for a default suffix for Text Expander and a selectable immediate override
Hi Marko Wow that was quick! Following the update it works exactly as expected in Text Expander (including in Phrase Files). Two things for other users to note: 1) In Preferences>TextExpander deselect "Display suggestions as you type" so that the chosen default suffix triggers the macros. Otherwise,...

Fastkeys overwriting not inserting in Win7 File Save dialog
Starting to get to grips with Fastkeys. I am trying to make a generic date add shortcut and thought I had nailed it after getting your Input Selection Form macros to work with my code. My code works fine in a text file but if I use it to insert a date into the Win7 file save dialog it wipes the stri...

Re: Introduce preferences for a default suffix for Text Expander and a selectable immediate override
For me they would be keys that are easy to get to, are not likely to be used immediately after another character and preferably don't require shifting. On a UK keyboard obvious candidates are "#" and "`".
