Simple installation
FastKeys needs to be installed locally on each user's computer by using a provided installation package or a custom installer.
Install as is
Provided installer already contains some basic settings, company name and logo. If this is all you need you can use the installer for a software deployment.
Install using the policy created with the Policy Manager
Use this method if you used the Policy Manager to prepare the policy file. Please see the instructions about using the Policy Manager.
1.Copy the created policy.ini file to the FastKeys main folder (local policy) or network or cloud location accessible to all users (shared policy, for example W:\CommonFolder),
2.Install FastKeys using the /POLICYFILE=FilePath command parameter, for example:
FastKeys_Setup_Enterprise.exe /POLICYFILE=W:\CommonFolder\policy.ini
This will install FastKeys with a full company's policy settings.
Install with the link to the shared settings
Use this method if you are happy with the provided installer and would just like to add the link to the shared settings to be used by all users.
1.Use FastKeys to create a set of settings which would be shared by users
2.Save the settings (File > Team > Export...) under a new name (for example Common.fdb) to the network or cloud location accessible to all users (for example W:\CommonFolder),
3.Install FastKeys using the /SHAREDFILE=FilePath command parameter, for example:
FastKeys_Setup_Enterprise.exe /SHAREDFILE=W:\CommonFolder\Common.fdb
